Be Part of the Fight

Your participation in the Race for Recovery will go a long way towards building awareness and raising funds to fight addiction and aid recovery efforts and we invite you to join us in making the day even more special.

Memory Board

Runners are invited to bring photos of loved ones who have been lost to addiction for our memory board. Photos will be collected at packet pick up and may be taken home from the memory board after the race.

Prescription Drop Box

We are pleased to partner with the City of Gaithersburg Police to bring their Prescription Drop Box to the race site. Prescription medications in homes are a common source of misuse and can be where addiction starts. Bring your unused or expired prescription medications to the race and dispose of them safely. You may wish to remove or black out personal information or remove labels but this is not necessary. All pill bottles will be accepted and no questions will be asked.
